Master Key Experience – Week 18 – Concentrate On The Power To Create

In this Part Haanel talks about growth, and goes a lot deeper into The Law of Attraction.

I am going to do my best not to give you my understanding of this work by giving you Haanel’s writings word-for-word.

That being said, there are still areas that might require a literal translation, so please allow for some replicated text, as I would not want to misrepresent the meaning,(as it was originally intended).

A perfect example of this is paragraph 4, where Haanel says: “A new civilization is being born; customs, creeds, and precedent are passing; vision, faith and service are taking their place. The fetters of tradition are being melted off from humanity, and as the impurities of materialism are being consumed, thought is being liberated and truth is rising full orbed before an astonished multitude”

And he continues to drive the point home in paragraph 5: “The whole world is on the eve of a new consciousness, a new power, and a new realization within the self”

You have to agree that that is some powerful stuff, and I frankly couldn’t see how I could have relayed that ‘truth’ in my own words. And it is also worth mentioning that this was written in the early 1900s.

A quote that Haanel uses in this Part to further drive the point home is from J.A. Fleming: “In its ultimate essence, energy may be incomprehensible by us except as an exhibition of the direct operation of that which we call Mind or Will”.

Here is this weeks Facebook Post:

In paragraph 27: Thought is the energy which the law of attraction is brought into operation, which eventually manifests in abundance.

And then to apply the knowledge learned in this Part , we are given the exercise to Sit for 15 minutes or longer and ‘concentrate upon your power to create; seek insight, perception: try to find a logical basis for the faith which is in you. Let the thought dwell on the fact that the physical man lives and moves and has his being in the sustainer of all organic life air, that he must breathe to live’.

****Did YOU, my dedicated Blog reader, understand any of that?****

I know I didn’t when I first read it, and after a week of reading it, and attempting to implement it in my sit, I still have ‘no-frickin-idea’.

I am sorry if you were hoping I was going to give you some major revelation that Haanel was trying to expose in this exercise, but I just don’t get it.

Like a lot of what Haanel writes, it either went over my head, or he is just that much smarter than me, and I just can’t make sense of it.

Oh well…maybe tomorrow it makes sense.

So let me end this Part, as Haanel did, with a Quote from Emerson: “There is no thought in my mind but it quickly tends to convert itself into a power and organizes a huge instrumentality of means”

If you didn’t understand what the hell Emerson was saying, you’re not alone. Much of what Emerson wrote goes over my head even after several reads (or listens). I guess I am just not ready for it. Like the first time I read Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

Anyway, I want to thank you for reading my Blog. I hope you got at least a little value from the Post. Frankly, if you got this far, I am sincerely, and extremely, grateful to you for being so open-minded and diligent. You Rock!

Until next week – Be Safe and Stay Well,

    1. Thanks John, I appreciate the comments on my Blog Posts, and the ‘little push’ on last weeks call the keep up the Blog Post. After blowing off my Week 17HJ Post, I was tempted to do the same thing with Week 18, thinking (and convincing myself) that they don’t matter. Stay Safe and Be Well Brother.
